Not all sewing tasks are grand and glorious. Some are rather tedious, (aka. using the seam ripper), and others are just plain annoyingly quick to accomplish. It takes more time to get stuff out than to complete the project.
I have had two quick mending type projects lately that seem to fall under this category of mundane, nonexciting projects. One being the need to sew on a button that I popped off a skirt. But these type of tasks need to be done all the same to avoid large to-do piles and mending baskets.
The other project was a little more exciting. Removing the handle strap on this backpack.
What kind of simple mending/improvement type projects have you been doing lately?
Sarah loves to sew, learn more about sewing, and create items with a vintage flair. Her arch enemy is clipping curves, and she has a tolerable relationship with the seam ripper.
