I wouldn't be blogging here without the inspiration of other creative bloggers. So I thought I would share about the amazing people who inspire me.
The Boyer Sisters. I could say so many things. I enjoy their singing. I love their sewing projects. I am inspired by their lovely blog posts on their sewing projects, current endeavors, and singing gigs. Charlotte amazes me with her photography. (Note to self, improve photography skills for blog.) Brigid has amazing creativity in the sewing room. Jessica is a great artist.
The Dreamstress. Here I find encouragement to sew in a period authentic manner using period appropriate materials and techniques when working on a vintage project.
Edelwiess Patterns blog: Although she blogs rather infrequently, I enjoy her posts on the Sound of Music/Von Trapp family, sewing projects, and recently her wedding.
Mode de Lis creates wonderful vintage dresses. It is just eye candy to read her posts and look at the pictures taken by her friend who is a professional photographer. She also has an etsy shop, where she sometimes sells vintage patterns at very reasonable prices.
I'll come back later with more things that inspire me.
Sarah loves to sew, learn more about sewing, and create items with a vintage flair. Her arch enemy is clipping curves, and she has a tolerable relationship with the seam ripper.
