So I am back again with a post on what inspires me in my sewing endeavors. Part one can be found here.
The Vintage Pattern Files blog is a treasure trove of free vintage patterns. There are patterns from nearly every era, and patterns for sewing, knitting, crochet, and embroidery. I haven't used many patterns from here yet, but I hope to find use for them sometime.
Sensibility Patterns has lots of information to inspire, from picture collections, to show and tell, to tutorials on sewing techniques.
Various online vintage pattern shops are also inspiring for finding new design ideas. So Vintage Patterns, Wearing History, Eva Dress, and Vintage Pattern Lending Library all have large collections from different periods, so whether you are buying or merely looking for inspiration you will likely find something that catches your fancy.
These two posts on inspiration have covered many of my favorite haunts for inspiration.
Sarah loves to sew, learn more about sewing, and create items with a vintage flair. Her arch enemy is clipping curves, and she has a tolerable relationship with the seam ripper.
