Miriam's family and mine have been trying for awhile to get together and have dinner. That finally worked out, and Miriam suggested I could bring my dress along and we might get a chance to get some work done. Miriam got the front of the lining and the bodice sewn together. I can boast a little more progress than I made the last time we worked on this.
I got the placket into the skirt and the front seam sewn together. (I do have some ironing to get done. :)
I was working on the skirt gauging when it was time to go home. Hopefully we can get this done very soon, as we have an event to dress up for on December 2nd!
Sarah loves to sew, learn more about sewing, and create items with a vintage flair. Her arch enemy is clipping curves, and she has a tolerable relationship with the seam ripper.
